Founded in 1918, The American Council on Education (ACE) is a membership organization, representing over 1,700 colleges, universities, and other educational associations. As the primary coordinating body for the United States’ higher education institutions, ACE oversees numerous offices concerning higher education institutions, public policy, and learner & educator success. ACE provides services and programs to its members with focus on professional development and improving higher education institutions. ACE also provides research and services which promote access to and success in postsecondary education. Additionally, the organization provides evaluation and training services for military and workforce organizations.
