Diversity for Social Impact

Diversity for Social Impact is a strategic professional and organization development organization dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion to drive social impact worldwide. The organization offers The Diversity Equity Inclusion Workplace™ Certification. The  certification recognizes organizations that meet a rigorous set of standards that reflect a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture. The certification process applies psychology, organizational development, and social justice methodologies to assess quantitative diversity and inclusion data. It also captures the voice of workers through independent surveys of employees’ DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) perceptions and experiences. REI workplace-certified organizations achieve a benchmark score that surpasses at least 70 percent of audited peers.

There are three steps to certification:

  • Step 1: Collect DEI data within the organization.
  • Step 2: Complete a Profile providing details about the organization’s DEI practices and profile.
  • Step 3: Organizations that meet the benchmark for Certification criteria will be certified as a Diversity Equity Inclusion Workplace™ leader along with a number of additional recognition opportunities.
