The Esperanza Education Fund is a nonprofit organization established in 2009 which assists learners who may face barriers to pursuing postsecondary education due to their immigration status. By offering scholarships, the Esperanza Education Fund aims to make higher education more accessible and inclusive. The fund provides scholarship opportunities to immigrants and the children of immigrants in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.

The primary mission of the Esperanza Education Fund is to create opportunities for motivated learners, particularly those from immigrant backgrounds, to achieve their academic goals. Through the provision of scholarships, the fund not only supports the academic endeavors of learners but also aims to promote diversity and equal access to educational resources.

Esperanza scholarship recipients have access to additional opportunities, including mentorship programs, access to an annual career day for professional development and networking opportunities, as well as through a cohort program to help build community among scholarship members.
