Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting community development initiatives across the United States. Established in 1979, LISC operates as a national intermediary, providing financial resources, technical assistance, and advocacy to local organizations striving to revitalize neighborhoods and improve the quality of life for residents. LISC’s programs and initiatives emphasize diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in their application.

  • Project 10X – focused on addressing racial gaps in wealth, health, and opportunity on a national scale
  • HBCU Internship Program – partnership with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) focused on establishing an internship program to build a diverse talent pipeline for Community development financial institutions (CDFIs)
