Work Forces is a bi-weekly podcast created in 2023 by with a goal to revolutionize thinking about the future of work and learning. The podcasts engage experts and emerging leaders across education, workforce development, and business building scalable educational models, cross-sector collaborations, and new education technologies to share their experiences and thinking on innovations shaping the future of workforce development and career preparation.
The podcasts are aimed at a niche audience of practitioners and policymakers in the education, workforce, and talent development space who are looking for practical workforce and learning solutions that can be scaled and sustained.
The 30-minute podcasts are designed with a conversational tone and hosted by workforce and education strategists and thought leaders, Julian Alssid and Kaitlin LeMoine. Podcast guests speak about topics ranging from the future of AI in higher education to innovations in microcredentialing, the evolving world of apprenticeships, and strategies for community colleges to remain relevant and competitive.
In July 2024, Work Forces received a first sponsorship grant from Lumina Foundation to expand the podcast series.
