Founded in 2015, Parker Dewey is a mission-focused organization that focuses on connecting employers with the next generation of talent through short-term, professional assignments that they call, micro-internships.
Unlike traditional internships that are tied to a higher education institution's academic calendar, micro-internships can be used year-round to provide on-demand support for short-term projects (usually requiring a total of 10-40 hours of work). They can be performed remotely and require minimal oversight and commitment.
Micro-internships are used across diverse industries and roles, as a precursor or alternative to traditional internships, and as skills-based hiring auditions.
Parker Dewey’s Candidate Intelligence Platform connects employers with Career Launchers—defined as “highly-motivated students and recent graduates from over 5,900 postsecondary programs nationwide.” The platform is a solution to address the employers’ challenges of engaging, assessing, and hiring early-career talent. The platform offers a nationwide network that helps organizations tap into a diverse pool of college students and recent graduates, providing them with real-world work experiences to improve hiring outcomes.
Parker Dewey focuses on building bridges between education and employment through micro-internships.
