Overview

AARP Foundation launched BACK TO WORK 50+ in 2016 to provide unemployed older workers with tools and coaching resources to help them compete for high quality in-demand jobs. A national network of community partners implements program components in their local communities.

In addition to introducing jobseekers ages 50 and up to a 7-Step job search roadmap, coaching supports for their search journey, and employer access events, community partners provide resources such as short-term training and work-based learning.

BACK TO WORK 50+ is administered in the following locations.
