Candid is a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive data and insights about a social sector capable of tackling critical challenges and opportunities. Candid provides information in the Foundation Directory that helps nonprofit organizations find funders to support their work. Funders also look to GuideStar to verify and research nonprofit organizations that are aligned with their priorities.
Candid was formed in 2019 when GuideStar and Foundation Center merged. Information on Candid’s programs, financials, operations, and other services is available at nonprofit profile, audited financial statement, and annual report.
Candid offers both free services and fee-related services.
