Established in 2019, the Trusted Learner Network (TLN) is an organization focused on the development of a digital credentialing ecosystem. TLN consists of three primary areas of focus; technology, governance policies, and community collaboration. TLN aims to provide a platform and ecosystem that will allow learners to have greater autonomy and mobility for credential transfer and accessibility. Additionally, TLN is focused on developing an ecosystem that will be more inclusive, allowing learners to utilize the network’s blockchain technology for secure collection, storage, and sharing of academic credentials, as well as other skills and certifications.

TLN’s platform includes a web-accessible application that is designed to provide learners and users with Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) capabilities, to allow users to maintain autonomy over the management of their credentials. TLN’s platform includes access to a digital wallet for storage, accessibility, and the secure exchange of information. TLN aims to provide learners with tools and services to reduce challenges learners face in the process of receiving, sharing, and storing of credentials.
