Overview

Founded in 1999, the HR Open Standards Consortium is an independent, non-profit, volunteer-led organization dedicated to the development and promotion of a standard suite of specifications to enable human-resource-related data exchanges.

The HR Open Standards Resume/CV Project is a recruiting data exchange standard that enables inter-system communication of a set of information about individuals, primarily for recruiting. The information includes data about education, work experience, licenses and certifications, and other lived experiences.

The HR Open Standards Resumé/CV Project helps individuals communicate information about their education, work experience, and credentials across a range of employer recruitment systems, thus connecting elements of the learn-and-work ecosystem.

Partners

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s T3 Innovation Network and HR Open Standards monitors the return on investment of education and training programs, shedding light on the value of learning programs in the ecosystem.
