Founded in 1986, Dignity Health is a nonprofit healthcare organization, based in San Francisco, CA. Dignity Health operates across 21 states, and is the largest hospital provider in the state of California. The organization is focused on providing a holistic approach to its services, emphasizing health services that cater to physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs of their patients. Dignity Health operates a research institute, focused on the development and implementation of the latest medical advances in technology, treatment, and procedures.

Dignity Health supports continuing education credits through the Nursing Continuing Education program. This program of the Learning Institute and Simulation Center at St. Joseph’s is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Participants in the program can gain CE credits through opportunities such as:

  • attending classes, conferences, and symposiums
  • in-services and competencies
  • regularly scheduled meetings and shared governance
