Advance CTE, established in 1920, is a nonprofit membership association that represents State Career and Technical Education (CTE) Directors and state leaders responsible for secondary, postsecondary, and adult Career Technical Education (CTE) throughout the United States and U.S. territories.
The organization supports state CTE leadership efforts to advance CTE policies, programs, and pathways that ensure career and college success for learners. Advance CTE conducts research and engages with policymakers to advocate for the advancement of CTE objectives, including funding and expansion of programs and initiatives.
