Overview

The Aspen Institute is an international nonprofit organization founded in 1949 as a nonpartisan forum for values-based leadership and the exchange of ideas. The Aspen Institute is headquartered in Washington D.C., with 11 international affiliates and a conference center campus in Aspen, Colorado.

The Institute's work is advanced through:

  • Conferences and Events which connect the public with experts
  • Programs focused on domestic and global challenges
  • Leadership Programs that create a network of business and community leaders
  • Youth Leadership Programs to foster civic engagement
