New America

Founded in 1999, New America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on research and policy recommendations aimed at solving complex social problems and advancing a vision of a more equitable America. New America is funded by a variety of donors, including foundations, philanthropic individuals, corporations, and governments. New America is committed to principles of transparency and independence, and financial supporters do not direct or influence the organization’s research or educational activities.

New America focuses on five key thematic areas:
