Founded in 1965, the Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates in northwest Ohio, and which facilitates community partnerships and offers a variety of community services in the Great Lakes region. Established to address the needs of low-income individuals and families, GLCAP focuses on providing a wide range of community action programs and services to promote self-sufficiency and enhance the overall well-being of the residents in the area.

GLCAP provides qualified families with access to Head Start programs for early childhood learning and child care options. The organization also works to address housing challenges by providing affordable housing options, home repair assistance, and homelessness prevention programs. Workforce development programs focus on enhancing employability skills, job training, and job placement services to assist individuals to secure sustainable employment.
