iDatafy is a company that builds data consortiums to help clients connect to new job talent through SmartResume, stop online marketing fraud, and stop federal student aid fraud. Founded in 2011, the company is located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The company’s three main products are:
- SmartResume – used by partners such as higher education institutions, professional associations, and workforce development organizations to certify academic and professional credentials to help individuals create a comprehensive record of their abilities. SmartResume is working with consortium partners to create a future where individuals have more data about their knowledge, skills and abilities, and employers can more precisely identify the talent they need to scale and thrive. The product has been in development since 2018.
- StudentReview® – a financial aid fraud detection tool. In fall of 2011, the U.S. Department of Education issued a “Dear Colleague” letter to higher education institutions warning them about an alarming rise in cases of fraud rings enrolling so called “Straw Students” at colleges and universities. These “Straw Students” were only enrolling long enough to accept a financial aid disbursement in the form of a check or debit card and then they would drop out — in many cases only to enroll in another school not long after. It was estimated that billions of dollars worth of federal student aid were misappropriated each year. iDatafy® created StudentReview® to help thwart the efforts of financial aid fraudsters so that deserving students can get better access to available aid.
- LeadReview® – a master bad lead database for online marketers. With increasing numbers of marketers creating and selling millions of bad leads that have crippled conversion rates, online inquiry buyers can report their bad leads to iDatafy® and check new inquiries against a master database to shield against known bad leads. LeadReview® can also help prioritize new inquiries that have no bad lead history.
