Founded in 1987, the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies is a nonprofit grant making organization. The nonprofit's vision centers around tzedek (pursuit of justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world), derekh eretz (treating all people with civility and humanity), and building inclusive communities. Their work expands across the United States and Israel in various sectors such as criminal justice, democracy and voting rights, education, gender, and reproductive equity.

Recent work includes partnerships with organizations such as English Learners Success Forum (ELSF), Richmond Public Schools (RPS), Surge Institute, and UnboundEd.
