Founded in 2000, KnowledgeWorks is a nonprofit organization that partners with states, districts, and communities to advance personalized, competency-based learning to ensure equitable educational opportunities for all students. Its mission is to prepare students for a lifetime of learning and success in an evolving world. The organization focuses on:

  • Explores future trends and possibilities in learning and work to help educators and policymakers prepare for what lies ahead.

  • Collaborates with state and federal policymakers to create policies that support student-centered learning systems.
