In the learn-and-work ecosystem, organizational interoperability helps enable learning mobility, digital credentials, Learning and Employment Records (LERs), credential transparency, and other cross-sector initiatives that depend on institutions, employers, government agencies, and technology providers working toward common goals. While technology can facilitate the exchange of information, organizational interoperability helps ensure that participating organizations have the trust, agreements, and shared frameworks needed to use that information effectively.
